A funny thing happened on my way Monday night… I ended up at the Seahawks-Saints game… but, not exactly in the stadium.
I was on the platform of Seattle’s King Steet Station waiting for the train to resume my trip, and there was no mistaking the roar of the crowd from that vantage point. Inside the stadium both my son and brother were adding to the record breaking sound and attendance. Even though I couldn’t see the action, I sure heard and felt it!
What a great year our Hawks are having! The right combination of good coaching, leadership, and athletes with remarkable skills.
What also impresses me is the humility I see that permeates through the team. Focusing on one game at a time, also looking at way to improve, and a goal to win the division top spot.
You may have noticed QB Russell Wilson takes a knee in the end zone with his teammates after the game… appearing to share a prayer of thanks. I’m sure they are thankful for the opportunity to do what they love to do.
We fans are thankful as well. Go Hawks!
