This morning enjoy a full day of sightseeing. First, attend Mass at the Basilica of St. John Lateran before touring the Basilica built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century. This magnificent piece of architecture was the first of the four major churches constructed in Rome. Officially, the 28 marble steps are ascended in a kneeling position with a prayer recital dedicated to Jesus Christ.
Then visit St. Paul Outside the Walls and the burial place of St. Paul the Apostle. Before returning to the hotel, visit the Catacombs of San Sebastiano.
