Nominated by daughter, Jacque Russo: John Haase is my dad. He will be 92 on November 12th. He served in the Army in WWII in Europe and helped liberate some of the camps. One of his memories include being yelled at by Patton!
He is very proud of his service and loves America very much. He loves to wear his VETERAN OF WWII ball cap everywhere he goes. Lots of people shake his hand and he loves it! My dad is very old-school in his love for his country, and his family and of course, the Lord. He served his country with such a sense of duty, and I believe he is a better man for it.
We’d love to hear about the person in your life, worthy of celebrating and honoring – Nominate your Military Hero today!
