Day 10 November 1, 2013
< Prev Day | Next Day >

We'll start the day exploring the City of David, the most intensively excavated site in the Land. The City of David incorporates the remains of the original city of Jerusalem that King David made his capital over 3,000 years ago. The highlight is a walk through the amazing underground ancient water system – the same water system used by David's forces to capture the city from the Jebusites. Don't forget water shoes and shorts today, because you're going to get your feet wet wading through Hezekiah's Tunnel with flashlights. We'll end the morning at the Pool of Siloam. We then travel to Bethlehem where we'll have lunch and visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepperd’s Field. This evening we'll enjoy the spectacular sound and light show at the Tower of David Museum. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
