The day starts with a panoramic view of the Holy City from the top of the Mount of Olives. Walking down the Palm Sunday route, we'll reach the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Basilica of the Agony (Church of All Nations). Our visit within the Old City walls will start at the Lion’s (St. Stephen’s) Gate. We'll visit the beautiful Basilica of St. Anne and the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus cured a person who had been lame for 38 years. Then we'll begin our walk along the Via Dolorosa. After lunch, we'll continue following the Stations of the Cross until the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the site of Calvary/Golgotha (Crucifixion of Jesus) and the Tomb of Christ. Leaving the Christian Quarter, we'll walk through the Arab market and exit the Old City at the Jaffa Gate. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
