PRAISE Weekdays

Afternoons with Larry Lomax

Monday-Friday
3:00pm to 7:00pm

Background:
Grew up in a big family as the oldest son, which requires me to be "responsible" (as most oldest children know). While family members dot the republic, I and my wife Kathy are settled into the Puget Sound area which I call home.

I have often returned to the evergreen state during my radio travels to Idaho, Oregon, California, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Most of the stations I have worked for in Seattle now have a different format & call letters... which I trust is not a direct reflection on my creative contribution. Enjoying my longest radio stint to date at Crista Broadcasting.

My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. Proverbs 3:11-12 Read More

  • Letting Go

I knew she was ready for kindergarten, and in many ways, I was ready for her to go. But then it came and I kept thinking, “How did we get here?” I had so many thoughts during those days leading up to the first day of school. Read More
