16th Annual Creation Festival: A Tribute to Our Creator

Four-day festivals host more than sixty Christian rock, contemporary, and worship bands. Also featured are Christian speakers and authors, a fringe stage (hosting mostly up-and-coming and/or harder Christian rock bands), children's stage (kids entertainers geared towards smaller children), Late Nite Cafe, camping, petting zoo, baptisms, communion, fireworks, extreme sports, volleyball, giveaways, candlelight service, prayer tent, youth pastor VIP tent, and other experience-based activities.

For Chapman, the greatest sources of inspiration are his faith and his family. The songs he’s written about his life and loved ones have provided a soundtrack for other believers for more than two decades, and it seems as though he’s most excited about the chapters ahead. “I’m a grandpa,” he says proudly, noting that eldest daughter Emily’s little girl will be turning one in November. “We have our grandbaby and it is absolutely amazing. I’m sure that’s where a lot of the inspiration is coming from for some of the new songs and new music. It’s new life and new beginnings. It’s the season for a lot of new beginnings.”

Chapman is the most awarded artist in Christian music history with five Grammy Awards and 57 Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association. After starting his career in the late 1980s, Chapman has sold more than 10 million albums. His hits include “The Great Adventure,” “For The Sake of The Call,” “Heaven in the Real World,” “God is God” and many others.
