As you read this, my family and I are enjoying a family conference together. We look forward to this every year! Over the past 14 years, we have met other families who go the same time and with whom we have a very special bond.  This year we seemed more excited than usual…almost giddy.  

I read somewhere the BEST part of any vacation is actually the anticipation and planning process…the journey and not necessarily the destination.  I agree! Planning, packing and getting things together is actually a lot of fun for me.  This reminded of my need to ‘enjoy the journey’ of everyday life, and not just focus on the ‘destination’ that is to come.

Wouldn’t you agree that heaven is our ultimate destination, but there is a lot to be done during the ‘journey.’  Lives to touch, people to love and hurts that need to be healed…cause, we aren’t there…yet!

To quote a famous songwriter, “LIFE is what happens when you are busy making other plans.” Hope you, like me, are enjoying YOUR journey.
