Zambia 2014 Benefit Concert byAbbotsford Male Chorus

The Abbotsford Male Chorus 4-part harmony has made a very special contribution to Christian musical presentations. People are struggling to make sense of life - the Abbotsford Male Chorus attempts to bring the Good News of Jesus through sacred harmony.

Berea Baptist Church and Zambia Berea Baptist Church, as a part of its missionary vision, has been going to Zambia every two years, since 2010. Each year has had a separate focus .. but the primary goal is to put God’s love for all people into a sharp practical focus.

In 2010, our initial team visited communities in the area of Konomo to review the community needs. In 2012, we built 6 homes for families in the community, visited orphanages and saw the need of schooling for children in the community. The result to sponsor 100 children for school. Berea has supported these children for 2013, 2014 and now 2015. We return again in 2014 with a focus of providing clean drinking water......digging 6 bore holes at $4,500 USD/hole.

McIntyre Hall Presents: Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband

Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband's family friendly, lively hybrid style of bluegrass infused with flavors of rap, rock, and contemporary country, has universal appeal. This charismatic quintet will take you on an entertainment roller-coaster with stellar musicianship, witty lyrics, funny antics, sing-alongs, and introspective ballads like hit single, "Dream Big". Hard-driving arrangements, hot instrumental solos, and tight vocal harmonies make the live show not to be missed.

A descendant from a long line of fiddle players, (he's the fifth generation to play) Shupe has been playing violin nearly as long as he could walk. He started touring professionally as a child, not quite 10 years of age, with the PeeWee Pickers. And in college he formed the Rubberband. The five man band, hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, is a breath of fresh air in their organic approach to performing.
