"Believe in the Power of Blood" Blood Drive

Put compassion into action and donate blood!

Canadian Blood Services is asking those of faith to step up and give this August. It's a time when accidents increase - and just 1 accident victim may need up to 50 donors to help them! While that is happening, patients are still undergoing treatment. Did you know 1 cancer patient may need 10 donors to support them?

We make it easy - just visit and locate a clinic near you and book an appointment. Or download the GiveBlood app. Have questions? Call 1-888-2DONATE (236-6283) ANY TIME.

Have your church start a blood donor group - become a Partner for Life by registering here:

You have the power to make a patient's life better and give a family hope by donating blood.

Life and Its Origin (Apologetics Symposium)

The incredible complexity of all life is highlighted by examining the components of a "simple" cell. The computer-controlled protein (including enzymes) manufacturing process illustrates that DNA, RNA, and over 150 proteins must be present and fully functional for life to exist. The natural scenarios (proteins first, DNA/proteins first, and RNA first) are analyzed and shown to be totally inadequate, even from the natural sciences. The information systems of life illustrate with certainty that life had an intelligent source. The Biblical basis for life's origin demonstrates agreement with known science. We are fearfully and wonderfully made!

About the Speaker:
Don Johnson earned Ph.D.s in both Computer and Information Sciences and in Chemistry. He was a senior research scientist and consultant for over 14 years, and taught 20 years in universities in the US and Europe. Since retiring as an APU (Christian university) professor.
