Our Created Universe

Educational seminar by Spike Psarris

Description:
Did God create the Universe, as the Bible says? Or did the Universe form itself in a Big Bang event, as secular astronomers claim?

A close look at the scientific literature reveals a surprising truth: the best secular models predict that most of the things we see in space, including stars, galaxies, and the planets of our Solar System, cannot have formed by themselves. In effect, the models say the heavenly bodies cannot exist. Thus, these models fail to explain the cosmos and its contents.

In this presentation, full of beautiful photographs from NASA and other sources, you’ll discover that the Universe is consistent with Biblical creation instead. Rather than supporting secular models, the heavens declare the glory of God!

About the Speaker:
Spike Psarris is a former engineer in the U.S. military space program.

RunforH2O - Event to bring clean water to Guatemala

Join us for a Family-Friendly Run Event that brings Clean Water to Guatemala!

The RunForH2O is a Vancouver-based charity run that helps bring clean water to rural villages in Guatemala. Each year we set a goal to help fund one water-related project in rural Guatemala. This year the project is set in Xejuyup, a community of 199 families (approximately 1,194 people). We work with HOPE International Development Agency who has been operating internationally for over 40 years. On average HOPE operates with 2% administration costs, 3% for education in Canada leaving 95% for development projects.

Water is one of the most important needs of any community. Most of us get to enjoy clean water with little or no effort right in our homes. However, it is a constant struggle for people in rural Guatemala. With a little fundraising effort and a bit of sweat we can change their lives with the gift of clean water access.

Double Doors 3: 7 Days of Glory

Headlining our Ministry Team is the 3-time Grammy nominated band LEELAND to lead worship for most of the conference. The rest of the Team include Hosts Faisal and Sabina Malick, Guest Speakers Clive Pick, John Mark Pool, Andre Ashby and Leeland Mooring.

Double Doors 3 was birthed out of a prophetic word from Isaiah 45:1-3 where God is going before His people to open the double doors and bring to light the hidden treasures of darkness for the purpose of ushering in an unprecedented harvest of souls into the Kingdom (Acts 2:16-21).

For the very first time, we are gathering for 7 days to seek the Presence of God in this pivotal time in history. We invite you to enter into a greater manifestation of God’s abiding Presence under an open Heaven in this season of double doors. The key in all this is knowing His ways and His Presence.

With this national conference we mark our 5th Anniversary as a church.
