ABOUT THE EVENT

Dove Award Winning gospel singer and songwriter Cheri Keaggy performs at 7:30pm on Saturday, January 19 at Lynden Christian School Auditorium, in a benefit concert to provide clean drinking water for a Guatemalan village and support local missions teams. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Lynden or Bellingham Family Christian Stores.

Keaggy recently released a new CD, "So I Can Tell."  The album's songs express God's goodness and comfort in the midst of grief, drawing on Keaggy's own life experiences. This is Keaggy's eighth release of her 20-year career, in which she wrote songs sung in churches throughout the world.

The concert funds clean water projects in remote Guatemalan villages, put in place by teams from local homeschool co-op Zacchaeus Learning Opportunities, and Birchwood Presbyterian Church, which has worked on similar projects for 11 years. For more information contact Birchwood Presbyterian Church at 360.733.8860.
