Your Life - PRAISE Updates

No Two Holidays Are Ever Alike
0 0

Christmas is here, and I pray for God’s blessings upon you and your family.

We know there are many who are missing a loved one this year, and I hope you’ll join with me to reach out with a hug and a prayer wherever we can.  Let us not forget the agony endured by a small town in Connecticut that is still reeling from the recent loss of life.

Jesus was born 2,000 years ago… with the purpose to die for our sins that one day we may live in an entirely different world.  There’s a song from Jeremy Camp that I’ve been thinking about:

There will be a day with no more tears
No more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place
Will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face
But until that day, we'll hold on to you always

Celebrate the true and only sure Hope… Jesus!

  • My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
  • It's hard to slow down and really think about what our country has been through to have the freedom that we do today. Do we forget to be grateful? Do we forget about the pain endured? Do we forget about the hard fought victories? Do we forget what freedom really means? I think we do. Today, take a momen to reflect on the blessing of freedom and read these words to "America" by Rev. Samuel Smith.
