As you read this, I’m busy getting caught up on work and packing for the PRAISE May Israel Trip. Forty-eight PRAISE listeners will be doing the same, as we eagerly anticipate being where Jesus walked, taught and lived.

Somehow, this trip has me MORE excited than the first one. I think what I’ve already seen and experienced makes that true. I can’t wait to share that joy and emotion with the many others going for the first time. Have you experienced that in your own life? Perhaps you’re excited for your kids or friends knowing that what they’re heading out to do will be life-changing. I can’t wait to see the faces of others traveling with me when they see Jerusalem for the first time, walk the Via Dolorosa or step into the River Jordan.

I think God feels that way about us. He already knows how wonderful our future will be and all that it entails. He wants us to savor every single bit of it! I picture Him smiling and celebrating WITH me as I enjoy all His blessings and adventures in my life. Would you please pray for our trip that we’ll be safe and soak in God’s Holy Land? Stay tuned to the Morning Show and check our Facebook page regularly. You’ll feel like you’re there with us and maybe, just maybe, you’ll join us for our next trip in October!

Shalom!

Lynette calls herself an "AMERICANADIAN" since she is from America and her husband, Dom, is Canadian. Together, their blended family includes 3 boys, 3 girls, a new son-in-law and her new kitty, Mia Bella. When she is not crossing the border back and forth for family time, she loves photography and scrapbooking, the Hallmark channel and just hanging with her hubby at their little house near the beach.

  • This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.
  • There are certain moments when you have a choice. You can either laugh or cry. We moved last weekend. With 2 kids. It was exhausting. Then, our furnace broke. Yes, the day we moved in. So, faced with this very cold dilemma we had a choice. We could scream and throw a tantrum and freak out. Or, we could laugh.
