For some of us, it's just another July.  Fireworks, picnics, vacations...

But for someone, July 2013 may be the month anticipated for a long, long time - maybe even an entire life!

If you have time, let us hear about your July!  Maybe it's something wonderful - maybe it's something difficult.

Whatever has made July 2013 something you have been waiting for, please share your story in the comment section below...

with love - Lisa :)

My oldest daughter, Ashley, willl turn 18 on July 11. It seems like only yesterday she was born. She is my unexpected miracle that I recieved at the age of 18. We have done alot of growing up together. I reflect so often and see how God's hand has been all over our lives. Ashley will be heading to India in September for 8 months of mission work. Whle my Momma's heart aches to see her so far away; I am amazed at the beautiful woman of God that she has become. She has a love and hunger for God that propels her to follow him above all else.

@DiedreM Such wonderful words and a wonderful story. It's a monumental month because she becomes the age you were when she was born. I'm so happy for you to have a God's Girl who wants to serve God with her life. Thank you for sharing your story, and I will be praying for Ashley while she is in India! What town are you from? hugs

Here is July comment that just came to me on my Facebook page from my friend Pam: July this year is a month of blessings and goodbyes. God blessed my husband and I 32 years ago on July 5th with our precious daughter. What a beautiful baby she was and adorable little pig tailed little girl she turned into. Now she has up grown to be a beautiful, wife and mom and a sweet and loving daughter. She balances a career with being a mom to a little girl that looks just like her when she was little and a step mom to three boys. She has such a good heart. We thank God everyday for the blessing she has been to us. On July 10th we are saying goodbye to our son who will be moving to Europe for his work. This move is what he has wanted and has worked very hard for. My heart is hurting to say goodbye. I don't know when we will see him again. our prayer is that he will find God again in his life in London. He has a tender heart. And is a wonderful young man. God has walked every step with him, he just needs to turn around and realize that God has never left him. Everyday I pray the Jeremiah 29: 11-13 verses for him and my daughter and our dear son in law "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, andI will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.". Thank you for praying for my children!

Here's another sweet story, from my FB page from Cindy: because our last two kiddos were finally adopted on Monday!! This is the first month that everyone in our family has the same last name. Also, now we are free to go wherever God calls us to go, whenever he calls us to go there!!

  • Snake River Canyon coiled up, rattled its tail, and sank its fangs into its would-be captor. On a sultry Sunday afternoon its l,700-foot jaws yawned wide as it swallowed a strange-tasting capsule prescribed for it by Dr. Robert C. Truax, the scientist-designer of Sky Cycle X-2. Starring in the show was a guy some people tagged Captain Marvel, who looked more like Billy Batson unable to remember the magic word. But before we label him a showman or a show-off...I suggest we consider the outcome of this showdown...
