Becoming Fearless

I had already chosen the word “FEARLESS” to be MY word for the New Year that I would focus on.  But after the “Dare to Be” event last Sunday with Natalie Grant and Charlotte Gambill, I was convinced that this word was what God had for me. Natalie’s words came at the perfect time.

The last couple of months have been filled with some very tumultuous times for our extended family and the energy and emotions of our family seemed to be pulled in so many directions.  As crazy as life has been, or as Natalie says…”Being IN the hurricane,” I have felt God’s peace that passes understanding and I have felt HIS arms around me and my family.  It’s the type of peace that calms, assures and strengthens you.

I’ve learned that being fearless has nothing to do with us, but everything to do with Him. And through Him, we can walk tall and proud and through life’s storms and trials, because we’re not doing it alone. God is with us ALWAYS.

“God did not give us a spirit of fear and timidity, but one of power and love and self control.” (2 Tim. 1:7)

What incredible hope we have when God's promise to us is He will never leave us, or forsake us. He is our "ANCHOR" when we're facing storms in life and gives us that peace when facing the storm & will give us peace & walk us through it!

Hi Lynette, I have been wanting to share a suggestion with you that might be a great help for your back trouble and might help you avoid surgery! It is called Foundational Fitness, it is designed by a chiropractor and has some amazing testimonials. I have just started doing a few of the exercises, and the science behind the program seems very sound. God bless!

The event was amazing!!! I actually worked at the Abolition table as a volunteer, and it touched me so much just to be a part of the saving these women and children. The words that came from Charlotte will always be held close to my heart, as I have experienced some of the abuse that some of these women go through and If it weren't for people just like Natalie and Charlotte I wouldn't have had a home to go to sometimes. Thank you for helping this event come to our tiny little town, thank you for helping me love myself more, thank you for helping these women come here and reach 1000's of women... I know of the extremely hard work put into the entire event cause like I said I was behind the curtains helping... Thank you for waking up way earlier then you intended to pick them up. Thank you for getting them here to help motivate me more and more everyday to become a better person, wife, mother etc.... I know hope that I get to participate in the Marriage getaway so that I can get my husband on the same page as me and allow our marriage to grow as much as I did in that short 4-5 hours I was at NCCTK helping...
