Dr. Andrew Bennett, Canada's former Ambassador for Religious Freedom, is the featured guest speaker for Trinity Western University's 19th annual Mel Smith Lecture happening March 9 at the Langley campus. Dr. Bennett's talk, The Christian and the Public Square: Truth and the Messy Business of Citizenship, will explore religious liberty in Canada within the context of how Christians relate to government and the public square. All are welcome to attend and admission is free.
TWU's Mel Smith Lectures contribute to dialogue and learning on significant contemporary public policy issues in Canada. The 2018 lecture looks at the state of religious liberty in Canada today.
