The New Year is here and that means I will spend many weekends shooting my bow in archery tournaments around the area until summer. Why? Well, it’s practice. Without the practicing, I couldn’t hit the broad-side-of-a-barn come fall. I want to be at my best, not worst.
One area I’m prone to be complacent in practicing is in my prayers, devotions and almost all areas of my walk, especially when life is going smoothly like mine is right now. Being cancer free for 6 years, one doctor visit could be a game changer, putting me right back in the battle. That got me thinking am I practicing and strengthening my faith; keeping it a priority? Or, have I become complacent? What about you? What are you practicing in 2012? For me, in addition to my bow, I’ll be practicing my faith. Will you join me?
