I just recently returned from an incredible experience with my two sons. The three of us joined a friend who lives in Fairbanks, Alaska, on a hunting trip to Alaska’s North Slope. That’s 9 hours of driving north of Fairbanks, landing us well above the Arctic Circle. What an incredible place! It felt surreal. There are no trees and no bushes. Nothing more than 6 inches tall unless it’s man-made. We were all amazed how beautiful the sunrise and moonrise were. It was an experience none of us will forget.
Our trip also had a sense of trepidation with it. Being 9 hours from any real civilization, much less medical treatment, an extra sense of caution permeated our actions. No slacking in the mental department there!
You never feel more alive than when life hangs in the balance. Much like our recent Fall SHARE here at Praise. A lot depends on your partnership with this ministry. While much hangs in the balance, we are confident in our God supplying our needs as He did once again last week! Praise God.
