Over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day we shared the songs that made the biggest impact in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) for 2014. About half of the top 50 tracks were represented by songs released in the past 2 years, with the remainder of songs dating back to 2005.
Congratulations to Phil Wickham! He grew up in a musical household, with both of his parents as one time members of the Jesus movement band Parable. He has supported his family as a singer-songwriter for the past dozen years. Not only did Phil enjoy one of his songs hitting #1 in 2014, but also had the #1 track for the year ‘This Is Amazing Grace’.
