PRAISE 106.5 wants to share our platform with local artists! Are you a local singer/songwriter or band looking to be discovered? PRAISE 106.5 wants to hear your original song. We are looking for the next big talent in Northwest Washington and British Columbia to share with our listeners! This is your chance to showcase your talent and claim the Local Music Search 2020 title. This year’s winner will receive 8 hours recording time at an upscale recording studio.
The PRAISE 106.5 Local Music Search has been a jumping off point for so many amazing artists like Dan Bremness, Andrew Marcus, and Leanna Crawford. Who knows, maybe you could be next!
Past PRAISE 106.5 music search winners have gone on to sign major recording contracts, and you could be next! Enter your original song today!
THE PRIZES
Grand Prize Winner will receive (subject to change)
- 8-hour recording session at a local upscale recording studio. Recording Studio will be determined based on winner’s location.
- Prize does not include meals, incidentals, personal items, ground transportation or other items not listed as included.
- Winner will receive a 1 hour Zoom call with Sanctus Real, Austin French and Josh & Matt from The Afters.
- Other appearance and exposure opportunities, to be determined by PRAISE 106.5.

Song submissions
Are you a worship leader, songwriter or performer looking to make it BIG in Christian music? PRAISE 106.5 wants to help make your dreams a reality. Send us a recording of your original song (Christian Adult Contemporary) along with a little bit about you or your band, and a current photo with our entry form.
All the entries will be reviewed and a panel of PRAISE 106.5 judges will select our 6 favorite performances to advance to the Semi-Finals round! All Semi-Finalists receive the prizing listed above.
SEPTEMBER 5 – 18
Semi-Finals Voting (2 weeks)
3 finalists will be featured during one week on-air, online and on PRAISE 106.5 social media channels. You can listen to original recordings and cast your vote daily for your favorite artist/band on praise1065.com
The winning artist/band from each of the two weeks of semi-finals will advance to the final round!
SEPTEMBER 19 –
OCTOBER 1
Finals Voting (2 weeks)
The top 2 artists will go head-to-head online as listeners vote for their favorite and choose the winner. One vote per day per person! So come back and vote every day! The artists are encouraged to promote this through their own social media channels and emails to drum up support for their side. Be sure to share your favorite artist on all YOUR social accounts!
OCTOBER 2
Winner Announced
Our Grand Prize Winner will be announced on-air in the PRAISE 106.5 Morning Show! Throughout this week, the top 6 artists’ songs will be available to hear on praise1065.com.
