
There are people in our culture that are determined that you should always smile when in social settings, but not all are wired this way, and sometimes life is just hard and you don’t want to fake it. We just want you to know, that’s okay and being authentic is good. On a lighter note, Brant gives an example of how to get someone to smile but Sherri warns against this tactic in the workplace. Fair warning.
Anyway, all this to say, if you don’t feel like smiling all the time, or on cue, or within socially expected instances… that’s okay!
