Brant and Sherri discuss a recent event where Domino’s attempted to deliver pizzas via reindeer. We have admiration for the concept but practicality came into question. The program was canceled however, after the reindeer did not stop at the delivery locations and kept dislodging pizzas from their pouches. It was a whole thing.

Hey, what’s happening? My name is Brant. Thanks for listening to the program. Producer Sherri’s here too. We’re glad that you’re listening.
Sherri:

Brant:

Season. I think someone’s going to break in with…
Brant:
Oh my goodness!
Sherri:
Look at that.
Brant:
I’ve been handed a bulletin! Here we have Breaking Animal News. We come and we’ll interrupt our very cool program on occasion,
Sherri:
in a heartbeat we’ll do it.
Brant:
when the news demands, excuse me. So check this out. Domino’s did something genius, and it’s something I wanted to do as a show. I wanted to get our own moose. I wanted our own caribou or a reindeer would be awesome.
Sherri:
Yeah, sure.
Brant:
Well, Domino’s started delivering pizza via reindeer, real live… These are big animals too. They would strap the Domino’s Pizza to the reindeer’s back and have them go deliver it.
Sherri:
Well, there’s a human there with them, right? Reindeer can’t just go to…
Brant:
No, they just sent ’em out. I guess they had some kind of a, I know how they did it, exactly.
Sherri:
Not possible. A reindeer’s not going to know to go to 2277 Main Street with a pizza.
Brant:
Okay. Well, that turned out to be the problem because the reindeer would not stop at the delivery stops, and kept dislodging the pizzas from their delivery pouches. So, Domino’s has now canceled the reindeer program. Anyway, it was a great idea, and so they’ve had to cancel that. It didn’t work out because the deer don’t…
Sherri:
They’re not going to do that.
Brant:
They don’t do it.
Sherri:
Which is why no one else does it.
Brant:
