Nathan won the Grand Prize for his sweet Mom for Mother’s Day! She gets to enjoy a relaxing Spa Day, courtesy of our friends at Walton Beverage.
Here is what Nathan has to say about his mom:
My mom works with a lot of refugees to Canada. They always have stories to tell and a lot of trauma. My mom is not only a mom to us but also like a mom and sister to many of them. She works tirelessly at home, studies university and works multiple Jobs all at once, yet always is there for her family-my siblings, Dad and I. I don’t know how she does it, but it is the power of God within her that keeps her going and gives her seemingly boundless energy.
Thank you, Nathan, for your sweet words, and we hope your mom enjoys her relaxing time at the spa!

Nathan:
Hello.
Lynette:
Is this Nathan?
Nathan:
It is, yeah, how’s it going?
Lynette:
It’s going good. Nathan, it’s Lynette at PRAISE 106.5 and I have some good news for you, right? Your sweet note about your mom for Mother’s Day actually won the grand prize. Our promotions picked your name over the weekend.
Nathan:
What? She’s going to be so stoked about that.
Lynette:
Yay. She can have a little delayed Mother’s Day surprise with a spa certificate to enjoy some pampering, all brought to you by our sponsor, Walton Beverage.
Nathan:
Fantastic. That is so amazing. Thank you guys so much.
Lynette:
Were you able to celebrate with Mom for Mother’s Day?
Nathan:
We went out for nice walk and spent some time together and had some good food and yeah, just hung out for the day, so it was really good. And then we went and tried to see the Northern Lights again for a second night, but there weren’t any lights, but we saw a lot of stars.
Lynette:
Yes, we did. I tried that too. Tell your mom Happy Mother’s Day. It’s still May, So it’s Mother’s Month.
Nathan:
Yeah, that’s right. That’s right, that’s right. Everybody else gets a month for something, so why not Moms, right?
Lynette:
Why not? I totally for that. Thank you, Nathan. Have a great day.
Nathan:
Yeah, thank you so much, Lynette.
