Lynette shares about her upbringing in a Christian home, where her mother instilled faith in Jesus despite real hardships. Through it all, her mother stayed strong, and the legacy of those life teaching moments remain with Lynette, and have been shared and passed on to the lives of her children, and grandchildren, as well.
Tune into Good Mornings with Lynette, weekdays between 5:30am – 11:00am.

The group is Consumed by Fire and “Walk with Jesus”. PRAISE 106.5. My mom is the one that taught me to walk with Jesus, to talk to Jesus, to have a relationship, to have the faith, no matter what was going on in our lives.
Now, I thought I had a pretty great childhood with my mom and dad. I did not know all that was going on behind the scenes. My parents eventually got divorced when I was in college. So sad. And my mom had endured so much pain. But you know what? She really never showed it to me as the only kid at home. My older brother and sister were off in college and then eventually got married and moved. So I was by myself, but my mom always taught me to have faith in God, even when we didn’t have any money, to have faith in God and walk with Jesus during those hard times, when those times my heart was broken. And she taught me that all the way up until she passed away last year at 91 years old. What a legacy she left behind for me and my kids, all of her grandkids and all of her great grandkids. I will forever be so grateful.
