It would like to take an extra step to inform the group members of travel expectations so that we can foster a positive experience for those traveling. By embarking on this trip with PRAISE 106.5, all travelers represent that:
They are independently able to meet the activity level guidelines listed here for this trip or are traveling with a companion who will assist them.
- The overall activity level of this tour is a level 2. This means you like a balanced approach to travel. Walking two to three miles over the course of a day is no problem for you. You can handle a variety of terrains, from cobblestone streets to moderate hills with relative ease and without assistance. You can climb two flights of stairs with ease. Expect some full days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. You can handle altitudes up to 6,000 feet. While this level is appropriate for travelers that require mobility assistance devices, there could be times when you may have to sit out on some of the included activities.
- During your Choice on Tour of Lisbon, one of the walks offered requires walking 2 miles on cobblestone streets and uphill at times.
- If you require any special assistance while on tour, please make us aware at time of reservation so the necessary request form can be sent to your attention.
- Lisbon is a hilly city and all sidewalks are cobblestoned which can get slippery when wet.
They are able to travel independently and do not need assistance with basic travel functions or following directions, etc., or are traveling with a companion who will assist them.
They understand that if it becomes apparent that they are unable to engage in this trip in an independent manner and require substantial assistance, they may be asked to leave the group and agree that they will be individually responsible for the cost of traveling home (potentially covered by travel insurance if purchased).
They understand that CRISTA requires that travelers of opposite genders who are sharing a room be married.
If travelers do not agree to the foregoing, they are asked to consider alternate arrangements prior to the start of the trip.
