About Taylor:
Hi friend, I’m Taylor!
I was born and raised in Texas, and radio has been my life’s adventure since I was 18 years old. That first job in Bay City opened the door to a journey I never could have imagined. From Houston, I moved to upstate New York for country radio, then on to Nashville where I worked for legendary WSM-FM and even hosted the Grand Ole Opry’s 75th Red Carpet Anniversary.
Life shifted when I got married and moved to the Tri-Cities of East Tennessee. That’s where I raised my two kids—my son Drew, now a junior at East Tennessee State University, and my daughter Waverly, who’s 17 and walking this new journey with me. I spent years hosting mornings there, until a painful divorce in 2015 brought me to Cincinnati as a single mom with a fourth grader and a seventh grader.
Here’s the thing—I didn’t know a single person in Cincinnati. But God carried us through. And now, He’s doing it again. This time He’s bringing me here as a single mom with my daughter Waverly… not knowing one person. But I’m hopeful, because I believe God plants us where we’re meant to grow. I hope I get to know you, and I hope you get to know me.
For the past four years, I’ve had the joy of being on Christian radio in my hometown of Houston, where my faith and my work could finally intertwine. And now—God has opened this door! ✨
At my core, I’m just a mama leaning hard on Jesus, learning how to walk in faith day by day. Prayer has completely changed my life—it’s where God reshaped my heart and gave me peace in the hardest seasons. And now, I get to share that hope with you right here!
So whether you’re driving home, cooking dinner, or just needing a friend on the radio, I’m honored to be with you. I can’t wait to explore this amazing city, meet the people who make it so special, and share this new chapter together.
Welcome to the morning show on PRAISE 106.5—I’m so glad we found each other.
