There’s a line in Scripture that says our prayers rise like incense before God.
“Another angel… was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people. And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God.” Revelation 8:3–4
I think about that when I’m praying in the car, or whispering something half-formed while folding laundry, or lying awake at night not even sure what to ask for. Those prayers don’t disappear into the air. They don’t get lost because they weren’t eloquent enough or confident enough.
They rise.
Quietly. Steadily. Together with the prayers of people everywhere tired prayers, hopeful prayers, angry prayers, grateful prayers. Scripture says they go up before God, noticed and received.
So if you’ve ever wondered whether your everyday prayers matter this is your reminder: they do. Even the ones that feel small. Even the ones that sound like sighs more than sentences.
Nothing offered to God in honesty is wasted. Let’s watch the sun rise on another day to be reminded of The Hope of Jesus!!!
Love y’all,
Taylor
