So there’s this Mexican restaurant up in Kent, Ohio, and one Saturday night everything that could go wrong absolutely did. Orders backed up, people waited for hours, and the restaurant later described the whole night on Facebook as “complete amateur chaos,” which—honestly—might be the most honest restaurant post ever written.
But here’s the part that stopped me: a couple sat there for three hours, never got food, never even got drinks… and still left a $1,000 tip on their way out. That kind of undeserved kindness is such a picture of grace—because if we’re honest, we’re all that restaurant sometimes, failing spectacularly, and God keeps being good to us anyway.
