Off the coast of Norway, a friendly “spy whale” has been spotted cozying up to humans, sporting a halter that suggests it may have once been on the payroll of the Russian defense ministry. Brant & Sherri report that this unusually social beluga not only enjoys human company but even lets people boop its nose, which is apparently not standard beluga protocol.
