About Aaron:
At 16 years old, Aaron bugged a local talk radio host in Fresno about being able to come watch him do his thing on a morning show. Shockingly the host said “yes” and that day confirmed his love of radio. Five years later, when interviewing for a once a week phone screening job at the same station, that host walked by and said “hire him!” And the rest is history! Just kidding. After a few years, the dream job just turned into a job and Aaron went back to college to really try to “make something of himself.” Even though he grew up in a Christian home, it was during that time after leaving radio, he started listening to the Christian music and teaching stations in Fresno (much like PRAISE 106.5) and learned that Jesus wanted a relationship with him.
Even after dedicating his life to Christ, getting a college degree, working in church ministry, being a missionary in Guatemala, and returning to California, the desire to serve the Lord through radio never left. And neither did a love for Canada that began with his 8th grade science teacher, Mr. O’Rourke. So when God opened the door to share with the Lower Mainland and the Pacific Northwest at PRAISE 106.5, Aaron jumped at the opportunity and is trusting God day by day.
Aaron loves his wife and their two boys, making others laugh, and helping them find their true calling in Christ.
