Abbie Parker of I Am They on Sharing Your Faith with Others

It’s interesting, especially finding myself, as an introvert, to be the type of person who steps out and shares my faith with other people.  But I find that there is an opportunity there, to reach out to other people who are the same personality type.  I think, honestly especially for this age, for millennials, what people are seeking more than anything is authenticity.  And I think building relationships with people, without agenda, regardless of what their beliefs are, what their lifestyles are, to just, to seek out a relationship with them and let the light that you have of your own relationship with Christ shine through.  Because that’s something that when you’re truly connected, when you’re in the word, when you’re praying, when you’re having fellowship and going to church; it is something that is going to emanate from within you and people will see how you live your life differently.  I think that’s the strongest witness ever; it’s just to love people as Christ called us to love them regardless of circumstance, and just to live according to that.
