What do all humans have in common? We are all a mess!
We possess an instinctive sense that there is a higher way we should aspire to, yet we end up veering down many other paths.
God gave us His law to reflect what we are… imperfect. We all fall short of the glory of God. And that should help us become closer to Him, and be more empathetic with others, versus being judgmental.
Once we acknowledge the mess we are in, we are an inch away from acknowledging God.
“I know a mess when I see one, because I am one.”
