Brant:
I’m totally sorry about this. I’m being upfront about it. I just went on this trip and I can’t think about much else. I used to be that friend. But I got to tell you something. Things occur to you. Like here in the US our coffee isn’t as good as Ethiopia. Ethiopia’s got it down, but I like the way we serve it here in terms of our lifestyle. I’d ask for it there and they’re like, okay, hang on a second. No lie… Here’s what happens. They get a handful of green beans. That’s a bad sign if you’re in a hurry.
Sherri:
If we’re starting at bean form.
Brant:
Green non roasted, like raw coffee beans. Now the net result is you wind up with a little thimble full of really awesome coffee.
Sherri:
Yes. But it takes a while, I guess.
Brant:
It does. Yeah. Because starting with, okay, and then they start over, let me light a fire on the ground. And so, it’s almost like you show up like, Hey, I’d like a small coffee. Okay, very good. It’s coffee shop. And then, okay, we’re going to go get some twigs to light a fire and then some.
Sherri:
So , this is going to take a while.
Brant:
We’re going to be here while aren’t we? And then it winds up being awesome, but it’s like, wow, okay. I guess I don’t want another, but…
Sherri:
Now my trip is over. But boy, that coffee was fantastic.
Brant:
We’re so impatient and they’re so patient and I get it. I get it.
