Can You Believe This?

The observable universe is estimated to contain 2 trillion galaxies! That means there could be a staggering 200 billion trillion stars in the universe.

It’s impossible to imagine those numbers! But just for fun, let’s think about 2 trillion:

• 2 trillion seconds = 63,376 years
• 2 trillion one-dollar bills stacked on top of each other = 120,000 miles into space
• Running 2 trillion miles at 8 minutes a mile = 30.4 million years without stopping

Is it any wonder that Psalm 19 says …

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world.

When we look at creation there is no doubt: Our Creator is Awesome. Endless. Infinite. Beyond understanding. There is no way our world could exist without an intelligent design behind it. And that designer is full of beauty and magnificence! There are not words enough to explain What an Awesome God He is!

Consider This:Take time today to look at the vastness of our world and praise God for His awesomeness. He is way beyond our understanding. The One who made all we see, and everything we cannot see, is able to powerfully work in every area of our lives to accomplish His good purposes for us!

PRAY: Lord God Almighty, I give You glory today for You are truly AWESOME beyond all others! Take my heart and make it a place of worship—for You are Worthy. I trust You, Lord, with all my concerns. (List the things on your heart today.) In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
