It is with a heavy heart that we make you aware of the unexpected passing of Jim Bouma on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. This is a heartbreaking loss for all of us. While we do grieve, we do not grieve without hope. We know he is with Jesus! Jim answered his call to serve at PRAISE 106.5 40 years ago and we are so grateful how God used him to touch the lives of thousands upon thousands of listeners. His legacy here will never be forgotten. We would love to ask you to pray for Jim’s family and the station during this difficult time. You can share your memories, prayers and sentiments in the comments and they will be passed on to his family.
A “Praise of Life” service will be held on Saturday, including a live stream that you are welcome to attend. You can join the live stream via Gillies Funeral Home And Cremation Services. Information regarding donations in Jim’s name are available on his obituary page.
Thank you for your continued love, support, prayers and memories as we celebrate the life of Jim. He impacted us all for the better and we are so grateful that God placed him in our lives. We rejoice that he is in the arms of Jesus!
Jim was always so encouraging and level headed. Really enjoyed listening to what he had to say. He will be truly missed. Our prayers go out for the family.
Your legacy will live on, Jim. I hope, with time, PRAISE will play back some morning show clips of you and Lynette in dialog…to hear your voice, your wisdom
Rebecca, l thought of this the other day and think it would be a great idea. We don’t want his voice to be forgotten andl hope the station honors our request.
Lynn
He’s been a true icon there and it’s a sad yet glorious day as he gets to see the ultimate truth and now the reality of what the hundreds of thousands of songs he played had claimed.
We …”Can Only Imagine”… yet Jim is getting to now experience the ultimate healing, the eternal hope, and the infinite glory that all the millions of lyrics he shared had promised.
Blessings to you and to his family, fans, and all his friends!
Sincerely,
Greg Otterholt
Oh what shock and sadness started my walk this morning.
I started walking pretty much 7 days a week, 1year ago. At that time I started for the first time, to listen to Praise 106.5. I met “The Morning Show” team, Jim and Lynnette. So I almost feel that they have walked beside me for the past year. I did the walking, while they did the music, the encouraging word, all mixed with laughter and praise.
Right away when I turned on my earphone to Praise, Lynnette mention how Jim wasn’t there this morning, I thought, oh he’s sick, then she says how he’s passed away yesterday, and I just broke down and cried!! Such shock! Even though I’ve never them, they have been a part of my morning ritual. I will miss Jim’s solidness, his insights into the scriptures and his positive outlook on life.
My thoughts and prayers are with Lynette and his family at this time. Jim, I will miss you.
Until we meet again,
Donna
Too often, people would first describe Jim by his height, for indeed, he was a man of tall stature. Better to describe Jim is to reference the stature of his faith, his trust in his Creator and Redeemer, Jesus. Better to describe Jim is to reference his welcoming and engaging spirit. Better to describe Jim is to reference his ability to tell a story, to paint a glorious panorama with words, and his ability to lift the down-trodden, encourage the discouraged, and provide sustainable hope to the hopeless. Jim was a marvelous spokesperson for the Triune God he knew intimately and trusted wholeheartedly. To that God we express our gratitude for loaning Jim to us for all these years. We are so much the better for Jim’s selfless contribution to our lives and to our community.
So sorry to hear of his passing. I listened to Jim and Lynette every morning on my way to work. I loved how they always encouraged one another and were so encouraging to their listeners. He loved his family, just the other night, he was going to have four of his grandchildren over to his house. Sharon and family my prayers are with you and your family as you walk through this difficult time. Love to you. “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you, the Lord lift HIS countenance be upon you and give you peace
With Covid,my biggest loss and fear was no church building to go to. Turning on 106 is my biggest blessing and comfort. Prayers to family, friends and colleagues of Jim, he certainly felt like family to us listeners
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’So sorry to hear of Jim this morning. He will be truly missed, he and Lynette make a good duo. I listen to them every morning on my way to work. Such inspiration, love, laughter and encouragement. A great way to start the day. Know that Jim was such an icon, Jim, you will be missed. He was always talking about his family, his wife, his kids and his grandchildren, you were truly blessed to have this wonderful man of God in your life. His legacy will live on! Love Steve and Sheri
I became a PraiseFM listener in 2009 when my husband and I began a 5 year separation. The messages of hope and faith in our loving God that I heard daily from Jim and Lynette and the Praise team helped me through this crisis in my life. Today, having healed my marriage, I draw strength and courage from all of you on the Praise team and the music you share with us. Jim, in particular, had a voice that inspired peace as he shared the truths of his heart, always centred in God’s unfailing love. While I know he is in his Creator’s loving arms, I am praying for his entire family, friends and colleagues as I know you will miss him greatly every day, until you are with him again. God bless, Kim
Oh, such sad news for his family, friends and coworkers it’s such a deep loss. My deepest condolences to you all, I have listened to Jim for years each morning while getting ready for work. We know he is in glory with Jesus now, yet the deep pain of losing him here on Earth is still difficult. May our Lord Jesus Christ bring comfort to you all as you grieve and walk through these hard times ahead. May you know that God will carry you and He will bless you today and the day’s to come.
We are so sorry to hear of Jims passing. Just listened to him yesterday, we will miss his voice and inspiration. We had the pleasure of meeting him in person a few years ago. What a gift he had for spreading the gospel on air. He is at peace now , but praying for love and comfort to his family during this time of sorrow. He will be missed by many. God Bless,Vickie and Joe Millhouse
Jim’s voice of encouragement along with Lynnette’s every morning on my way to work was a routine I looked forward to every day. Jim was always so encouraging, so calm and positive. He will be missed.
My heart and prayers go out to his family–his wife- he always mentioned her when he had an opportunity to. His children and grandchildren. To Lynnette who worked closely with him all these years, and every member of the Praise 106.5team. May God heal your hearts, wipe away the tears, and comfort you at this time. We thank God for TIm who rests safely in the arms of his father now. May we all finish our races strong!!
Heartbroken to read about Jim. He and Lynette have been a part of my day for so long. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Although I know where he is I know he will be sadly missed here on Earth.
We are praying for your Jim’s family. We always enjoyed listening to him, hearing his wise words, his comforting voice and his beautiful perspective on life. He clearly loved his family deeply and spoke so fondly of you all. We pray for peace for you. We will really miss him – without even knowing him personally, he touched our lives in a significant way. He was a source of comfort and strength for us every day.
I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I have enjoyed listening to him for years. Will be praying for his family
Thank you Jim for a job well done. You were an awesome co-host and you will be missed. Praying that God will comfort Jim’s family. Rest in peace and enjoy in the presence of the Lord.
I am so shocked to hear this sad news. Sending love and prayers for peace to Jim’s family. Sending a big hug to Lynette. Loved hearing you every morning. I’ll miss you Jim!
I had the pleasure of meeting Jim during the fall share a year ago. I was quite nervous that I would mess up on the phones. He reassured me that I could do this. His smile and gentle words were enlightening. I will miss his banter in the mornings with Lynette. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his family friends coworkers and his fans. He is now dancing with Jesus I Can Only Imagine..
Rest in Peace Jim you will me missed
I’m so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. He was such a joy to listen to in the mornings and had such a love for life and Jesus. I will always remember him talking about his wife and grandkids and his love for the outdoors. Praying for his family and the station. He will truly be missed.
As it got in my car this morning and turned on the radio I was so saddened to hear this news. I sat in my driveway and cried. I’ve been listening to praise 106.5 since 1994. The concerts I’ve attended Through The Years where Jim and Lynette have hosted them have just been so special. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to his immediate family but also to the station family, particularly Lynette, as she sat next to him for years. I must Proclaim that God is good !!! And God is good all of the time!!! Rest in peace Jim!!! And may you be singing great Hallelujahs right now❤❤
I have been listening to praise for forty years and before that KLYN. I always loved that they had good personable staff. My Hubbie drove me across the border from Canada….to pray with Marv and Jim and Lynette a few years ago and that was so special. Will miss him lots. I got to see his wife Sharon as she was waiting to take him to see his new grand baby.
I lost my dad six months ago and now they are both sitting at the feet of Jesus. We get sad and we miss them terribly not being here with us……but they are with Jesus! Praying for the families and the staff at praise as they grieve! Hugs from us!
I heard the news this morning at 630 am and could tell something was wrong. I could tell in Lynette and her voice and was talking…wow…what a shock. Praying for the staff and the families and the grandkids. He will be missed and left such a great legacy with all of us who listened to the morning show and the praise radio for years! Thanks Jim!
I just wanted to give my condolences to Aimee, his family and the Praise 106.5 staff & alumni family. I volunteered with Jim and Marv and Roy back in the 80’s promoting the Good Samaritan Fund that KLYN helped sponsor each year to assist hundreds of families at Christmas time.
Aimee you may never know the impact that Jim had on listeners and those he served. I am sure it seemed that you had to share him with everyone, and thank you for that!
Over the years, Jim would meet with hundreds of listeners…. It seemed he was always on location; local businesses, NW Washington Fair, Abbotsford Air Shows, and he served as MC for all the major Christian music concerts on both sides of the border.
Jim touched my life, and I am sure the lives of thousands of others that spent time each day with him, listening to him and enjoying the stories he told.
May the Lord bless and comfort you during this difficult time.

I am so sad and shocked to hear of Jim’s sudden passing! He and Lynnette are my morning starters! I turned on to Praise about 2 years ago! Love this station! Condolences to everyone at Praise, family and friends! Jesus has received you with open arms!
Blessings,

My daughter (11) and I were shocked at the news this morning of Jim’s passing. We both wept, and prayed, and remembered how much we LOVED listening to him every morning. My girl doesn’t know life without Jim & Lynette. They’re like members of our family. I spoke with Jim last week when I called in for the secret sound. I feel privileged to have had that brief conversation. He was a man of great faith, wisdom and stories. Yesterday he told the story of going for coffee for his wife and the woman napping in her car. My daughter and I laughed at the randomness of that story, and how much we love his random stories. Who knew that would be our last giggle at him. We know he’s rejoicing and cheering on those he left behind. We’ll stand with those here believing for the peace that surpasses understanding to rest upon them. God bless you all and know you’re all greatly loved. 💖😇✝️
I always considered Jim my radio pastor. He had such wisdom and grace. I will miss his voice so much.
Jim will be missed deeply in our house! The sound of his voice at home and on vacations will never be the same. My prayers go out to his family and to his radio family. 🙏
So grateful to be a member of the praise family through each of you sharing your lives with all your listeners.
I didnt know Jim personally, but I feel like I’ve lost a friend today, since Jim shared so much of his heart with all of us over the years. I am truly sad knowing I’ll not hear his voice again, or the witty banter that made him and Lynette so much fun to listen to every morning!
What a great loss for everyone left to mourn his passing, but how we can rejoice knowing where he is now!!
I will be praying for his family, his Praise family, Lynette, and everyone affected by his passing.
We are thankful to have had Jim wake us up every morning. He will be missed and we are praying for his family. Paul & Ann Lengyell
I moved to Canada last Feb 2006 and experienced a great trial without having a friend nor a family member that could help. Praise 106.5 Jim and Lennette was a comfort to me everyday by listening their music and words of encoruagement and even great humors to cheer you up. 15yrs of listening to Jim was an honor and Im always grateful for your ministry. Thank you Jim. Say Hi to Papa Jesus for me.
I can’t believe the Lord has called Jim home so suddenly. Praying for the family he leaves behind whom he often joyfully shared about. I will truly miss his voice, stories and wisdom that have been part of my life for so many years. Thank you, Jim, for blessing me each morning as I head to work. May God grant you eternal rest and joy.
I was blessed to spend a morning with Jim and Lynette one day as “morning show apprentice”. He was such a pleasant, friendly, encouraging person to someone scared to death to make any mistakes on live radio! I think he has been that pleasant, friendly, encouraging voice to thousands over the years who became comforted hearing him. He was a man of God who truly desired his ministry to be enjoyed, and that came through in his public persona. He will be missed, until we can greet him again in glory 🙂
So very heartbroken for you all and Jim’s family! He will be missed here on earth but we will see him again! Thinking of you all! I grew up listening to him and my kids too! Sending prayers for all.
Oh wow, what a shock! I am so sorry for Jim’s family and I will be praying for them.
I have to say although I never met him, except hearing his voice on the 106.5 He seemed like such a kind and gentle man. He will be missed.
I know he is with Jesus ( lucky guy)
Until we meet again.
My deepest sympathy to Jim’s family and to Praise1065 his other family. I considered Praise my favourite station and the only one I listen to. Jim and Lynnette the morning duo will be unforgettable. Jim is resting in peace in the loving arms of God and his son Jesus Christ. A rainfall of blessings and prayers are with you all! With love❤️
My wife and I depend on 106.5 for spiritual encouragement. We are so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. He was as dependable as the clock on the wall !
He often spoke of his family. We knew he loved his wife. We knew he loved his kids.
BUT he really loved his grandkids !!
Please know that we are praying for all the family members.
Peace be with you.
Words cannot express… Wow, i am in shock and was in tears when i heard this announcement. I have been a listener for so many years and Jim was a staple! To Jim’s family, Jim was appreciated. He was so wonderful to hear each and every day. Inspirational with his story’s of his loves and passions. And… 40 years commitment to one thing! Praise the Lord!!! That takes strength and commitment. And for that you should all be so proud. Heaven has gained an Angel. My prayer: Thank you Lord for Jim. Who has made so many people’s day through his voice and encouragement which you have gifted him with. Please be with Jim’s family at this sudden loss. Please be with Lynette who has lost her partner in crime. Please be with listeners as we seek to understand without ‘questioning God’. Jim will be missed. However, we will all who love our Lord and Saviour, meet again.
How sad to hear of Jim’s passing today. My thoughts & prayers go out to all his family and the team at Praise 106.5. For years I have listened to Jim & Lynette’s morning program, and I can only imagine how many lives he has touched in Jesus’ name. Jim, you wlll be missed by so many listeners! God Bless you all!
I am saddened to Hear of Jims sudden passing ,He is in the Arms of Jesus ,
Praying for his family, and the Praise 106.5 Family
Thank You Faithful Servant
Oh! I am so very sorry to hear this news! I can only imagine the void that his passing has left on all of the hearts of those who knew and loved him in person. And what a celebration that must be going on in heaven that he is now home with our Lord and Saviour. I pray that his family, friends, and co-workers will feel comfort and love in this time of grief and loss.
Starting so many of my hectic days with listening to Jim and Lynette always has uplifted me and allowed me to put one foot in front of the other. What a blessing his ministry was to so many!
I, Aranka Lukacs, on many occasions enjoyed listening to Mr. Jim Bouma articulate his insightful thoughts and his approach to finding a command ground for all to be incorporated equally in his conversations. A soft reassuring firm voice that assured me that things will work out for the better bigger picture in time with the wisdom gained from his beliefs in the WORD. A man that would speak with insight from both sides of the story, giving supportive arguments while staying steadfast to his beliefs. Jim and Lynnette gave a ray of sunshine every morning on PRAISE and whenever l listened to them both was like having grand parents l never had/knew. He demonstrated through his voice the kind of Christian human being God had wanted him to be. This will be a corner stone foundation platform for whom God will hope to fill when it is the right time PRAISE’s family. May Jim’s family and friends and colleagues know just how blessed they are to have a personal insight to God and Jesus; and, the endless opportunities to pass on to others still waiting to hear stories about an amazing Godly man. I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Jim Bouma’s unexpected passing way, I can only imagine just how good natured he was that he will be fondly missed for years to come while fondly being remembered keeping him close to so many hearts. God will comfort all during this time. God will be pleased to have his dedicated son home with him now; and keep him safe till all will be reunited again.
Prayers and peace to Jim’s family and listeners everywhere,
Aranka Lukacs
My daughters and I are very saddened by Jim’s trip back home.
We always listen to secret sounds, so he was like a part of our family in the morning. Hear Lynette cried today made me called too.
However, I know we have to rejoice he is better than us.
To his family and his work-family, I pray that God comforts your hearts.
I so loved listening to Jim in the morning. He had a very calming nature to him. It really helped relax me on my way to work each morning. I will miss his positivity and insight. He was definitely a blessing.
Along with countless others, l am grieved to hear the sad and shocking news of Jim’s entrance into Heaven. My ❤️ aches for Lynette, his co-workers, friends and fellow listeners. The void he has left in his family will never be replaced and l pray God comforts you in the days, months and years ahead. I’m grieving with all of you! Love, Lynn Kole
Awoke to Lynette’s tears and news. I am so thankful she came to work today instead of taking the day off, so we could all grieve together. Teaching us how to express ourselves and how really it’s just us struggling with the news, but Jim he is doing fine with Jesus. I told my youngest boy of 14 yrs that something good always comes out of something difficult….
Something already has….as both my older boys who are struggling with a variety of challenges this CoVid year and perhaps having trouble developing that personal relationship with Christ….were different this morning with the news. They were reminded life can be short and there is no time like the present. One lay in bed in deep thought pondering the sudden news and perhaps life was not as difficult as it could be. My older one spent time reading his bible with his head bowed in thought….I know these events were sparked by something difficult, by the reminder of how short life can be yet at the same time we cannot fathom how “lovingly” our Lord weaves all of our lives together to make a beautiful tapestry.
I know many blessings will come from what seems to be the “unimaginable” right now. Thank you Father that You shall keep your promises and JOY shall return again for Jim’s family.
Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.
Psalm 56:8
You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?
Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
May the Lord hold Jim’s family closer then ever, may He be singing over them.
Prayers for his family – that God give them strength to face this most difficult time. My early morning drive will never be the same again. Jim & Lynnette are my daily morning partners, especially on my drive to work. I love to listen to them and the inspirational music they play. Rest in peace Jim.
I am so grateful for your dedication to your ministry for so many years. Your presence on the station will be so missed. Much love and prayers to Jim’s family. Rest well good and faithful servant ♥️🙏🏼
Jim made me to laugh a lot. He was encouraging. He will be missed.
My heart goes out to the family and those who are close to Jim! I hope you all will feel comforted and lifted up by all those who are praying!🙏🏼
Jim had a way of putting a smile on my face every morning! Jim’s humour was such a breath of fresh air! We will miss you Jim. ❤️
Just so sad to hear this news. We are praying for you all at the radio station and for Jim’s family. He was such a light. He had the kindest voice and seemed to be such an awesome person. We are grateful for all he shared. It was so evident how much his family meant to him. He often shared about them and you could tell just how much they meant to him. He will certainly be missed.
Bridget
I would just like to say even though I never knew Jim personally for about 2 years now ever since I’ve been baptized I have been listening to Jim and Lynette every morning on my way to work every afternoon on my way home from work and just feels like you’re part of a family we would hear about him going camping with his grandkids and taking down Christmas decorations and you hear about Lynette’s life You just feel like you’re a part of a family and when I heard this morning that he had passed away I started crying it really hits home 🥺. I’m praying for his family his grandchildren his children his wife everyone that prays 1065 I really enjoyed listening to him on the radio may you rest in peace Jim
My heart aches for Jim’s wife, children and grandchildren! My heart also aches for Lynnette! Jim has been my companion to work each morning for countless years. Although I only met him in passing a few times at Missions Fest in Vancouver, I feel like I’ve lost a friend who liked his coffee black, did not eat special breakfast cookies (just day old chocolate chip ones), loved the outdoors and LOVED his family (he was so proud of his children and grandchildren)!! Jim was always a voice of reason and wisdom when the world around us was chaotic – his calm words of wisdom helped me many, many times!!! I pray for Jim’s family as they grieve his loss, for Lynnette as she mourns the loss of her longtime cohost and friend, and for the station as they navigate how to move forward. Thanks, Jim, for your years of service on KLYN/Praise 106.5 – you touched many lives and will be sorely missed!!!
To the family of Jim, to Lynette and all of the Praise team,
I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear this news today. It is hard to imagine my mornings without the incredible “Jim & Lynette” duo who brought such joy, encouragement, humour and especially such godly teaching through their banter over these many years. Jim added such a calm and wise element to the morning show. I have been encouraged beyond measure by Jim and the team Jim & Lynette, thank you. Thinking of you Lynette. He is in Glory and we “can only imagine” what he must be experiencing today! My deepest condolences to all of you, especially his dear family. You will be in my prayers,
Charlene
My prayers go out to his wife, family and all his friends. It is still a hard time even knowing of his walk with Christ and his place in heaven. We can celebrate Jim’s memory and be thankful for God’s wisdom.
God bless and be with you all! XOXO
Cheryl
My wife got called home unexpectedly a year ago at the age of 42. We have 7 children. No other family…but God picked me up and pulled me through. I pray the mysteries of the Lords incredible power is revealed to you, the kind of power that is needed to lift you up in such a confusing, painful, and lost time.
He is real!!!!! We are doing amazing now, there is so much Love for Jim from people…but God loves him more and is taking perfect care of him.
Trust in the Lord.
This message is for the family and friends and anyone affected in Jim’s loss…just as I am.
Hugs to you all, From Alex and the kids.
Listening to Jim and Lynette here in my hometown of Victoria started my day. I will miss his encouragement, his humour and his dedication to God. I send big prayers for his wife and family and also to Lynette and all of the Praise 106.5 staff. He is leaving a huge gap for everyone. God bless💔🙏🏼
Susan
I am grateful for Jim speaking words of hope, encouragement and wisdom on air. His way with words have touched my heart, put a smile on my face and sharpened me many times. It’s amazing that through this, I am reminded never to take people for granted and to live with purpose! Love God, love others, love yourself because only the Lord knows when our last day on earth is. Thank you Jim for making a difference in my life! My prayers goes out to Jim’s family, friends and workplace team.
My heart is heavy for all his family. I loved hearing him talk about his grandchildren during the morning show. You just knew they were a large source of his joy. The Lord will comfort all that mourn.
I am really going to miss his perspective on life – he had a way of seeing things that really made you think and were full of the Truth from the Word. You will be missed Jim and I’m looking forward to seeing you one day in our true home – Heaven.
I loved hearing Jim’s voice in the early morning hours. He was kind, and an encourager to us in the times we are living in. His faith and love of family was made known in his words to us listeners. I enjoyed the communication between him and his cohost Lynette. They worked well as a team. He is one of a kind, that we have been blessed to listen to. God’s gift to us for all of these years.
Thank you Lord, for Jim and his ministry. We ask that you would be a great comfort, during this time of grief. Be with his friends, family, and extended family. Help us all to keep the good thoughts and memories. – In Jesus Name, AMEN
Jim and Lynnette in the morning have cheered me up innumerable times on my way to work and it is a sad loss to the Christian community here on earth that he is now with the Heavenly Father.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and also the ever-ebullient Lynnette! Hang on to the Lord’s joy!
Praying for your family during this time.
I was shocked to hear the passing of Jim. I loved listening to him and Lynette in the morning on my to work. I loved his stories about camping with his grandchildren and going for coffee with them. So glad he shared a coffee date with his wife and the funny story of the lady sleeping in her car. He mentioned what a beautiful sunny day it was. I know we are all going to die but it is still so sad. However loving Jesus we will have life in eternity and that provides me with such peace. Thank you Jim for sharing your faith and love through your stories you shared.
I listened to Jim and Lynette every morning in my car, on the way to work in Victoria. They have blessed me so very much for the 6 years if not more, that I have been listening. Jim was so full of the Holy Spirit, and he blessed me so much. Thank you Jesus for Jim, what an amazing light.
We are very shocked and sad to hear that Jim has passed away. He loved Jesus and he is now with Him and experiencing only joy. However, he will be sadly missed. We appreciated his cheerful demeanour and encouraging words. He loved his wife and always spoke respecfully and lovingly about her. It was evident that he also loved his children and grandchildren. Praying for Jim’s family and colleagues. May the God of all comforts hold you close and comfort you.
Dan & Liz Bue
I’m so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I have listened to him everyday on my way to work through the morning show for more than 20 years now and it seemed like I knew him personally as he constantly shared about his family and all the more his love for God. Although I know that he is now in the arms of his Creator I know that his family is grieving. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and his Praise 1065 family.
I became a Christian in 1985, and I have been listening to Jim since that time. He has been a huge part of my Christian walk.
I had an opportunity to get to know Jim a little bit through archery. We were paired up during an archery competition a few years ago. I also took the opportunity to chat with him at several community events. I’m going to miss you on the air, Jim, but I know you’re rejoicing with Jesus in heaven tonight.
My heart is very heavy to hear about the passing of Jim. I have listen to this station for over 20 years. I was stationed at NAS Whidbey Island and love the station and is a blessing. I moved to Texas a year and a half ago and use my Alexa to continue to listen to this station. May God bless all of you and Jim’s family and my god give you peace in this time. I’m deeply sorry for your loss. I may not of met him in person but know his voice and he will be missed very much! Love all of you… John McClimans
I read about Jim’s death just a few minutes ago. My wife and I listen to Jim and Lynette every weekday morning. What a complete shock! I immediately thought of Lynette. I pray for his family as well. Blessings to all the 106.5 staff members and volunteers. Oh my, this is so sad.
I am so sorry to hear this. I think it just yesterday that he made a comment about the inauguration saying that he had this feeling that nothing terrible was going to happen. He was so right on. I am in shock. I pray for the peace of God to be with his family and grandchildren. He just loved his grands. He is with the Lord now and the rest of us miss his loving voice. Such a good man.
I listen to Jim and Lynette every morning as I get ready for work. So many times Jim had Incites he shared on the air. I usually write them down to think about throughout the day and week. Yesterday he shared something and I again thought wow I need to write that down but I didn’t get a chance to. I would love to remember what he said so I could write it down as I think about him and pray for his family and the praise family. Is there any recording that might have that on ?
I was so sad to hear this news on my drive home this evening. I always enjoyed listening to Jim in the mornings, he was so warm and funny, someone I never met but kind of felt like he was an old friend. My prayers to his family and his co-workers as well. I’ll miss him on my drive to work in the mornings.
You have my deepest, deepest sympathy. To his family, may the Lord hold you all in the palm of His hand and bring you peace and comfort. May angels surround you with loving song.
So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a gentle giant in the kingdom. Always warm and kind-hearted. He always made me feel welcomed and supported during my time of doing Praise Gatherings with 106.5. Jim you will be missed. My love and prayers for His wife and children and the whole Praise family! – Dean Boland
I always came away very inspired and encouraged by Jim’s down to earth and common sense insights. Loved his humour and his precious devotion and love for Jesus. It has been my morning highlight at work for the last 10 to 20 years! He had such a reassuring voice that spoke peace into all of the turbulence and messes of every day life. What a glorious day in heaven when he arrived. I can only imagine! We will all miss you deeply, Jim, until we see each other in heaven!
My wife phoned me this morning to tell me that Jim from Praise had passed away. She and I were both deeply saddened. I turned my radio on and heard Lynnette talking about Jim and I heard the sadness in her voice. I started crying myself. Our deepest condolences to Jim’s entire family and everyone at Praise. We are all truly blessed to have known such a wonderful person.
I was stunned to hear about Jim’s passing. Absolutely shocked beyond words. Like many others, I felt that Jim and Lynette my radio pastors. Their relaxed banter while keeping God in everything was comforting, enlightening. My thoughts and prayers to Jim’s family, and you Lynette. You are home Jim embraced in Jesus’ arms…rest easy 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💖
My sister and I listened to Adventures in Odyssey every weeknight at 6:30 in the 90s and I remember hearing Jim’s voice. I will always remember his comforting voice in my heart and memories.
My heart goes out to Sharon and family, as well as Lynette and the Praise family! I have enjoyed starting my mornings with Jim and Lynette for many years. I will miss Jim stories of camping trips with his family and insightfulness on life but more importantly his strong faith and love for Jesus. Matthew 25:21 His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!…Come and share your master’s happiness!’. Love and prayers.
So sorry to hear and so unbelievable. Yesterday morning the last story I heard him talking about was him and Sharon going out for coffee and enjoying the beautiful day. Such a great loss. My prayers for his family. Listening to Jim and Lynette was always such a treat in the mornings! Jim will definitely be missed!
So very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He was always fun to listen to and so encouraging. The Lord has him in his loving arms and is telling him “well done my good and faithful servant” I pray that the Lord’s arms wrap around Sharon, their children and grandchildren and fill them with his love and peace. To Jim’s Praise family I pray that you feel Gods comfort, love and peace during this difficult time. God Bless you ❤️
My most sincere sympathies & condolences to Sharon & the family, co-workers & the many friends that Jim had.
I was so very saddened & shocked to hear the news of his passing. I’m sure we are all finding much comfort in knowing Jim is with the Lord; whom He loved so much & served so faithfully.
I cannot imagine no longer hearing his voice, laughter, encouragement, wisdom & stories. The Lord used him to bless my life & home all these many years, as I would tune into the radio every day.
Jim will be greatly missed & was one of a kind, in the most wonderful way.
May the Lord give daily peace, comfort & strength to his wife & family.
You have fought the good fight Jim, and finished the race strong. A man of courage, perseverance, humility, kindness & faith.
I know the Lord has welcomed you, with “well done, my good & faithful servant. Enter into thy reward.”
Thank you for giving us a place to express our sympathy; and also our respect & honoring of Jim. God bless & keep us all….
Jim and Lynette ….what a comfort you both are to me in the morning on my way to work at the hospital….never quite sure what to expect when you arrive. Your calm reassurance that God is in control and had me exactly where He needed me to minister to others. Many mornings I would be singing praises and praying in my car! I will miss Jim….I loved his simple way of looking at what life throws at you! Prayers to his family and to his Praise 106.5 family as well, especially to Lynette….what a beautiful partnership. Sending love from Victoria BC.

It was really shocking to hear of the sad demise of Jim. I tuned in at my regular time when I heard the Lynnette break the news. I didn’t know how to react then but I kept on listening and remembered Jim’s voice that I heard all weekdays. Going to miss his encouragement and his cheerfulness and warmth that he shared every morning. Prayers & strength to the his immediate family & Praise family as well.
I have been listening for many years and have always found comfort from Jim’s (and Lynetts’s) words in the mornings. I have loved hearing about his grandchildren, his wife’s time as a teacher and his love of being outdoors. He has always been a comfort and I pray that his family will take comfort in knowing how many lives he has touched through the years.
I am very sorry to hear about Jim passing away. I loved listening to Lynette and Jim every morning. His stories of his camping trips, his family, his faith. The last thing that I remember him talking about was the window (hard to reach window)near the Christmas tree that needed to be cleaned. It made me laugh. He also said the tree needed to be taken down. I’m sure it was just this past weekend that he was going to do that.
Sorry to Lynette as well who I’m sure will miss him dearly. You two were a great team.
My thoughts and prayers are with Sharron, her family and everyone at Praise 106.5. I am so sorry for your loss. Jim will be missed by all of us. He gets to hang out with Jesus now…
Jim became a member of our family just under a year ago after we bought our first car as new immigrants from Nigeria. The morning show with him and Lynette became part of our morning commute and was always a constant reminder that there’s hope in this fleeting world. My 2.5 year old daughter now sings all these amazing gospel songs that have become part of her routine on her way to daycare every morning. Just on Tuesday morning, I was enjoying his conversation with Lynette over her scrapbook of pictures and how the pictures for this year would look different with people in masks and with
fewer people than she would normally have so its a shock to hear that he passed on Tuesday. We would miss Jim to say the least, his soothing voice, his encouraging words, the uplifting music he shared with us. However, I know without a doubt that he’s in heaven smiling over us. I pray for his family whom he always expressed his love for, his friends and colleagues at praise 106.5fm and all his listeners across Canada and the U.S that God will comfort each and everyone of us.
So very sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. It was a joy listening to him on Praise 106.5; he, and Lynette, were always upbeat, positive, and encouraging, and listening to them and the show to and from work on the train makes my day so much easier. From they way he talked, his family was his joy. He will be missed.
awww my love goes out to you all , Jims heart was full of love and happiness. He always had witty comments and encouraging words to say . I loved how he always made you laugh so hard Lynette . how great he really was , R.I.P with the lord our saviour .
I just couldn’t believe it when I turned the radio on yesterday morning and heard Lynette say that Jim wasn’t with her and that he had passed away suddenly. Tears came to my eyes as the reality of what she said sunk in. I listen to them every day and will deeply miss hearing Jim’s cheerful voice as he would talk about his family, grandchildren and his love for Jesus. My heart and prayers go out to his family, friends and praise coworkers. Thankful for the wonderful hope we have in Jesus. This is not the end.
I listened religiously to the Jim and Lynette show daily. Jim was so funny. He had so much love for the lord and he wanted us to know Jesus like he knew him. When I heard this news my heart was saddened. I lost my papa January 2020 and i can sympathize with his family. It’s hard to lose that love one but we know he’s with the One who died for us. He’s up there praising singing with my papa. Condolences to his family and especially his spouse. God bless you and god bless Lynnette for your loss as well.
I am so shocked and so saddened. I can’t imagine the feelings of Lynette and Jim’s family. With less connection to church Praise was my connection. His memories of Florida, his very reasonable approach to life and God, his love of his family, and the constant interaction with Lynette that was so much like family-started my every day for many years. My radio is set to Praise in the car and my alarm so I hear the morning show every day. Lynette I will pray for strength and peace for you. And Jim’s family.
I was so sad to hear of the great loss of Jim. My heart and prayers go out to Jim’s wife, kids, and grandkids as they celebrate Jim’s life. Jim and Lynette are such an encouragement in the mornings as we listen to them. Lynette you had an awesome
co host and he will be dearly missed.
My prayers go out to Jim’s family at this difficult time. They also go out to Lynette and the staff of 106.5. Adjusting to change is never easy and especially at a time like this. This loss has affected the whole community of listeners, staff and especially family.
Jim will truly be missed.
Jim, you were a “Titan” in radio. The sentiments expressed by a listener in Montreal are echoed by me when he talked of how you took news stories and had wisdom, of how to put us at ease. Your “Dad” jokes will be missed as I will always remember you as one of my most influential fathers to the fatherless. Even though my real father was abusive both physically and emotionally, I will always be grateful for the way you shared your family, news, and other encouraging stories. Your perspectives on life helped make me calm, collected, and inspired me to be a better husband to my wife and a better father to my special needs son. Even though, I’ve always felt I should have given you a father’s day card, I somehow thought the Lord would have shown you that there was another audience of young men that you aspired to become Godly men. If not, He has certainly showed you now! I’ve listened to you and Lynnette mostly on “Free Refills” on Sundays @ 12:00 – 2:00 as well as some mornings on my way to work on “the Morning Show”. Thank you so much for all that you did. Absent in our presence means you are present with the Lord. I will pray for your wife and families, my deepest condolences. May they feel the Lord’s loving , comforting, presence as they go through the grieving process. Please Lord, give them peace. And Lord, please bless Lynnette and the rest of the Praise 106.5 team and listeners as they deal with Jim’s passing. AMEN.
My deepest condolences to the passing of Jim, he is truly an inspiration to the many lives he has impacted with his gentle touch even through the radio.
I remember on Tuesday, as I sat in my car and turned on the radio that I hadn’t heard Jim’s voice in a while. I suddenly felt an overwhelming rush come over me and prayed that he was ok.
Father God, We know your plans are greater than we can ever fathom, however we do know that Jim is seated with you now in heaven. I pray his family find the peace in their hearts that only you can give, and wisdom and grace to know what to do to navigate this difficult time. I pray they continue to anchor their trust in you Jesus and your power to overcome all the battles that are in front of them.
I pray for the entire praise team, for comfort and strength. May you continue to stride with joyful hearts knowing Jim has not really gone away, but is still walking behind you.
We will miss you Jim!
Love,
Jennifer Jumawan
I am upset and saddened to hear this morning that Jim passed away. My brother passed away in November and yesterday was his birthday and I did not turn the radio on until evening. I thought I caught something said about Jim but missed the main part. It won’t be the same without the team of Jim and Lynnette. I have listened to them for years and it was a great way to start the mornings with them both. Jim always had words of wisdom to say and interesting pieces of news he would find in his wonderful way he presented it. He was never afraid to talk about The Lord. It won’t be the same without them together. But when we know The Lord, we will meet again. My condolences to his family and to everyone at the radio station and especially to you, Lynnette for losing such a wonderful co-host.
Mary Anne
Heard on the radio Jim has gone home, and although I am so sad for us, for all our loss, for his wonderful family’s loss- my very next thought was he is with Jesus right now. Today, that wonderful man of God, who loved Jesus so honestly, that man walks with Jesus today.
And he was called home so quickly, how MUCH God loves him, and loves his dear family.
Prayers for the station family, and each one of his own dear family, to comfort and hold you all in this tough time.
Can’t wait to see him when we get to heaven, bet he is loving some outstanding music right now! ❤️
Loves and prayers, Dru
I have been a regular listener of Praise for many years. I always enjoy the morning show and the stories of both Jim and Lynette’s families. I know Jim will be greatly missed. Having lost my mom five months ago, I know what a comfort it is knowing that our loved ones are with Jesus. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim’s family.
To the Praise Team and Jim’s Family
No words can describe the shock and disbelief that followed the announcement of Jim’s passing yesterday. The fact that he had been on radio in our Kitchen, our cars and at concerts we attended and lastly the evening before his passing, we had listened to his message of rest was just too much to get my head around. I was just listening to him yesterday as he talked about going out for dinner with Sharon but instead sat in the car having coffee in a parking lot. He told how they had seen a lady sitting in her car scrolling through her phone or doing something in her car anyway, and the next time he looked, the lady was sleeping and that she had leaned her chair back to take a nap. Jim was talking about rest and was going to do the that next time since COVID had really slowed things down at most parking lots. May he RIP for ever.
To Jim’s family…I am truly sorry for your loss. Jim has made an impact few have dared tried. Though he may not be as great as the greatest man that ever walked this earth he still managed to touch a great many people with his one act of sharing. Below are my words describing my point of view of your Jim. My Mother always said “if you have a kind thought you should share it. If your thoughts are not kind keep them in a closed box.” This box is not closed. I am opening it for all to see. An act that is very hard for me to do.
There have been men born to do great acts for all human kind, invent great conveniences that moves all human kind forward, discover how nature when mixed correctly can cure illness, how studying the body can save a life when it is damaged and there have been men who could speak words to build up or to tear down. Words…written or spoken have had the greatest impact either for good or for sorrow than any invention or any act from any saint or angle. A single man who chose to share other men’s work of great acts of others inspiration, of their words of motivation and their acts and words of kindness, their words of comfort, of their words of encouragement shared them with his voice…little did he know how many, how far or how deeply his simple act of sharing would reach. Jim chose to share his voice over the radio waves discovered and invented by other men of greatness, to share his voice of others who wrote their words on parchment bounded together with ribbons and glue. He even learned his voice could be put down on parchment in the form of words. He chose to share the healing powers, healing words of a single man who to this day carries the greatest impact no other has ever measured up to. Jim is with this man today. He is whole. He is now waiting for the rest of us to share pieces of ourselves with others. It matters not how many we share with just…reach out and share just one part of yourself with others. Jim showed us all how the simplest, kindest act can reach more men, women, and children if we just simply share that one part in our hearts with others. Each of us has a different talent to share. Some in acts, some with inventions and some with words like Jim’s and mine. Jim spoke on the air waves and even wrote some down in books. I can’t speak out so others can hear me not like that. I need to hide behind the words written on parchment. I haven’t found a way to share my words yet. I am just learning I don’t just need to keep those words in my head, I can write them down. And one day I might be able to find a way to send my words to others. But for now this is my voice. I am sharing it with you. From here it is your choice. Jim is in all your hearts. His image has been chemically imprinted on paper for you to look upon when you need to remember. All each of you need to do is look in the mirror and see the pieces of Jim in each of yourselves. He has left his voice with each of you like he has done with me and with so many others. It is our choice what we do with his gift. I may be old but I am still learning and trying.

I had the privilege of a conversation with Jim on-air in 2012 during their songwriting contest. A beautiful soul, a talented professional, and a man who clearly loved the Lord. Deeply saddened at his passing.
I am so sorry to hear this. He was a true warrior & will be missed by many. I really appreciated hearing him. No words can really ease pain in crushing times of loss, but much prayer on the behalf of his family & friends, moves them closer to the one who can & does.
“Blessings always.”
Jim you were such a friend, even though we hadn’t met in person. I’m so glad you lived your truth, shared your joy and love of family with us listeners. You will be deeply deeply missed.
Prayers of comfort and cherished memories for your family friends and coworkers.

My condolences to his family and praise 106.5 family… but yes, there is hope because Jim is with His Lord.
Jim and Lynette, I love you guys in the morning! Every morning!!!❤️❤️
Your legacy will live on, Jim. I hope, with time, PRAISE will play back some morning show clips of you and Lynette in dialog…to hear your voice, your wisdom
To Jim’s family and all who worked with Jim, especially Lynette, I am very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
His voice was a comforting sound that will surely be missed by his listeners. Sending love from British Columbia, Canada.
It was with a sense of shock and incredible sadness that I heard the morning following Jim’s passing that he was now with the Lord. My favorite time of the day on Praise 106.5 is the early morning with Jim and Lynette. I always looked forward to hearing the words of wisdom that Jim had to share with us as well as the great time he and Lynette always had together. He will be missed so much! My thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s wife and family and his second family at the radio station. May God comfort and bless each one of you as you grieve.
I moved to the PNW from the southwest in 1993. The first thing I did of course, was find the local Christian station. Jim’s warm personality greeted me on my morning commute for nearly 30 years. He blessed me so many times over the years, just being a great guy, loving his family and loving the Lord. Always lifting up Jesus. We will all miss him so much. We share in the sadness but at the same time, rejoice in His arrival in the arms of Jesus and I am certain that he heard those words we all long to hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Very sad to hear of Jim’s passing. Our deepest condolences to his family. My wife and I enjoyed listening to Jim and we will miss his voice on the air. We never had the pleasure of meeting Jim but we will one day in heaven.
Saddened by the loss but happy in the knowledge that Jim was welcomed into the presence of our Lord, Saviour, Master and King. Because he shared of himself so openly in his daily broadcasts, it was like we were friends. It was funny how he (and Lynnette) seemed to play the right song, add the needed commentary or share a story that uplifted our spirits, just when it was needed. His voice will be missed on our daily commutes but on Tuesday – his voice was added to the heavenly choir (praise the Lord!). Our heartfelt condolences to Jim’s family and co-workers at Praise 106.5.

My heart is broken, to know of Jim’s sudden passing. For almost 30 years now, we have been blessed by Jim’s faithful and thoughtful ministry. So many times, I have felt connected by our mutual love of our families and especially of our grandchildren. Every morning as I drove to work, Jim’s detailed stories of taking care of his grandkids and his family events have always warmed my heart tremendously. My thoughts and my prayers are with Sharon and their boys and their grandkids in the coming weeks and months … Jim will be missed, terribly. Always thankful for the blessing of Jim’s life and ministry.

A life well lived! We shall miss you, Jim. You were my morning guy on the radio for about 20 years. Always inspiring and uplifting. Made my days joyful. Thank you for making my life and thousands of others better by just being you.
Jim was very encouraging in his thoughts and words as he reached out through the platform of airway God provided him. I especially always enjoyed hearing about his annual hunting trips with his boys and “coffee” time with his grandkids. Such a great example to many. His legacy is one to strive for. Prayers going out to entire family as well as the Praise 106.5 family.
Jim will be greatly missed by so many. I wanted to share this poem with you, no matter what you’re going through, even the loss of a loved one Jesus is there for you!
DEAR CHILD, I AM THERE
No matter what you’re going through
I AM there to carry you
When you’re weak, I am strong
So come now, to where you belong
I’ll wrap you in My arms of love
I am your refuge, My precious dove
My child, I am there all the way
No matter what comes, I will stay
Come to Me with your care
Knowing that I’m always there
I don’t have a machine to answer your call
I’ll dry your tears when you bawl
My child, you’re safe in My palm
I’ll soothe you with My healing balm
All around you, family and friends
Though their mortal strength they lend
They’re part of My plan, but I love you more
I have so many blessings for you in store
Remember, whatever you’re going through
I am here to carry you
This trial will last for a time
But remember I love you, you are Mine
When you’re weak, I am strong
So come now, to where you belong
I’ll wrap you in My arms of love
I am your refuge, My precious dove
I love you

I loved to hear Jim very often for a almost 10 years now….from Paris France !
I’ll be missing very much …prayers for the family and friends
I listened to Jim on 106.5 for the past 23 years and really enjoyed his wisdom and encouraging words. We were both redheads from Florida who have lived in Washington for many years. His bantering with Lynette was hilarious! May our God of mercy and peace be with his family and coworkers at the station.
So sorry to hear of his passing. I listened to Jim and Lynette every morning on my way to work. I will pray for Jim and his family members.
Sincerely,
Kyu-Chang
I consider Jim and Lynette as my Radio Family. Jim always had the right words to say or plays the right song when it’s needed the most. My condolences to his family, friends and to all the Praise Family as well. He was truly a blessing to many and his memory will remains alive in our hearts. Rest In Peace Jim.
I am so shocked and grieved! My condolences to all, the radio family and Jim’s family! Jim and Lynette voices are inseparable during the morning program. I love listening to them when I drive in the morning to work. I feel like I lost a friend, impossible to think his voice will not be sounding anymore. I am grateful for his presence on the radio, so comforting and encouraging! I will miss him a lot! Praise God that we will all meet in heaven and that it is not the end of the road. My prayers are with you all. Natasha
We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Jim’s passing. We will miss hearing his voice and advice on the radio. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family who were evidently his pride and joy. I can’t imagine the deep void you will feel and I am so sorry for this tragic loss. I pray that God will give you strength and courage to push forward. Your Husband/Dad/Papa/ will be missed for years to come and NOT forgotten. Thank you for sharing part of your lives with us through Jim. Praise 106.5 won’t be the same without him, we miss him so much already. May God bless you all and keep you safe, especially Sharon. We are praying for you and grieving the loss of this amazing man with you.
I just want to let Praise Staff as well as Jim’s family how much I enjoyed listening to Jim over the years. Loved Jim’s words of wisdom, encouragement and his simple profound ways. He was able to simplify the most complicated event into a few powerful words. He was a Rock for us listeners as I’m sure he was for all of you! He will be greatly missed. Thank you for sharing him with us all of these years! D. Woods
We just learned of Jim’s passing this morning when Lynette announced it. We are very sad. My children and I always listen to “Jim and Lynette” show. I pray for Jim’s family and Lynette for this very sad time. I hope God give you peace and comfort during this very difficult time. He will be sorely missed. We love you Lynette.
The Praise 106.5 morning show has been part of my morning since I was in high school in 2012, when I realized I could set my alarm to the radio instead of the buzzer. That’s how I met Jim and Lynette. Although I’ve never met them in person, I am so grateful to God for both of them and for bringing me to discover this station. It’s been a steady source of joy, hope and encouragement for the last 8 years, and there are so many times that God has spoken to me, comforted me, made me laugh and provided for me through a perfectly-timed song or story.
I was really moved to hear that Jim had passed away, both with sadness for his family and the Praise 106.5 team, but also with wonder and joy that he is now in the presence of Our Lord. So my heart and prayers go out for his family, for Lynette and the whole team at Praise 106.5. Thank you for your ministry, and especially now for teaching us how to grieve with hope – so important especially during COVID. And above all, praise and thanks be to God! <3
My family has been listening to you since 1999. Thank you! You have been an inspiration to us. I pray that your family will experience comfort and healing in this very difficult time.
It has taken some time to be ale to sit and finally write something to the Praise Family and most importantly, the Bouma Family. I have never met Jim or any of the Families mentioned but I cannot explain how profoundly impacted I have been by Jim’s sudden passing. One morning I am listening to Jim describe his car coffee date with Sharon, listening in awe his admiration for his wife, kids and grandchildren. The next morning, driving to work, I literally choked on my coffee, had to pull over and and get myself under control. I have been crying ever since, Covid is starting to effect my emotions 🙁
Isn’t it amazing how you can never meet a person and yet they can have such a profound place in your heart. What a gift Ji has been to so many people. Praise and Bouma Family, I wish you all healing, laughter, encouragement to continue on without Jim.
Jim, thank you for all of the words of encouragement, the laughter, the wonderful stories, your faith, thank you for sharing your wisdom, your family and just you with all of us. The morning show will continue but it will not be the same.
Lynnette, keep your chin up, I don’t know how you have managed to continue on air the last couple of weeks, I just find myself in tears and then unable to talk or sing. Thank you Jesus for Praise 106 FM and placing Jim Bouma in our lives, even if was just a voice on the radio. It just proves the impact of Faith, Grace and Prayer.
God bless ecah and every one of those people impacted by Jim’s passing, meeting in the Kingdom of Heave Jim!!
Sorry for the ramble, broken hearted, so much to say , not good at expressing it.
Laurie
I really enjoyed mornings with Jim & Lynnette. Prayers of peace to his family and friends. He will be much missed by us all.
My deepest condolences to Jim’s family. I just heard the news this morning. I listen to Praise 106.5 on my morning commute and always appreciated Jim’s kindness and compassion that always shone through his conversations. He will be missed!
