Brant and Sherri get real about emotional meltdowns from a Christian point of view. They both agree that it’s fine to have them but the situation and the company matter. When it all gets too much, we let it out and cry out to our heavenly Father. He’s not afraid of our tears and can handle our rawest emotions.

Brant:
You might ask yourself, because it’s a very human thing. Is it okay to just melt down?
Sherri:
I know that feeling. Yeah.
Brant:
If you’re somebody who’s like, okay, I want to be a good Christian person or whatever, can I just meltdown? Apparently, yeah. But it’s all about where you do it and with whom. And what I mean by that is, like we were just talking about Psalms, David and the Psalm writers are melting down.
Sherri:
Yes.
Brant:
About half of them are pretty dark, but it’s to God, right? So if you’re in the car and you’re frustrated about stuff that’s going on, you can’t understand it. You don’t get it. It’s too much. You feel overwhelmed. It’s being human, isn’t it? I’m glad the Bible doesn’t gloss over that stuff at all. But what you have an example of, like you can cry out to God where you are, and be honest, He can handle it.
