Also feaatures internationally acclaimed, Juno award winning Abbotsford songwriter, composer, recording artist and instructor Brian Doerksen, and his father, Harry Doerksen, along eith brief interviews of Mennonites who fled from communist Ukraine before 1945, and the Zolotaryovs.
The inspiring hymns concerts are a tribute to the centenary of the mass flight of Mennonites from the Ukraine to Canada just over 100 years ago, and, most importantly, to raise monies towards crucial relief for Ukrainian refugees in the Fraser Valley transitioning into Canadian society, as well as to meet desperate needs in Ukraine.
