Flood Heaven with Prayer

As we approach another flood season, many people throughout our communities are carrying real concerns and uncertainty. While we cannot control what the coming season may bring, we can come together before the One who can. Throughout Scripture, God calls His people to humble themselves, pray, and seek Him. We believe now is one of those times.

Together, we will worship, humble ourselves before the Lord, and pray for His wisdom, peace, and protection over our families, homes, farms, businesses, first responders, and our entire community. Prayer is not our last resort—it is our first response. We believe God hears His people when we seek Him together, and there is power when the Body of Christ unites in prayer.

The afternoon will include:
• Worship and praise
• A time of united prayer
• Personal prayer for anyone who would like it
• Baptisms for those who desire to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ

This is not about promoting one particular church, denomination, ministry, or organization. It is also not political, partisan, or intended to create controversy in any way. There is no political agenda behind this gathering. Our desire is simply to create an opportunity for Christians throughout our communities to come together, seek the Lord, encourage one another, and pray for the people and communities we love.

I don't know exactly what God is going to do through this gathering. I only know that I believe He is asking us to say yes, stand together, and trust Him with the outcome. May the coming together of the body of Christ be a testimony to anyone who witnesses.
