‘Every once in a while in the middle of an ordinary life… LOVE gives us a Fairytale.’
I’ve ALWAYS loved that quote and tried to believe it to be true. For me, that fairytale is coming true in an exciting way. You see, my oldest daughter is getting married and I have the privilege of being the ‘MOB’ or better known as the Mother of the Bride!
I adore her fiance’ and love his family and consider them such an incredible blessing. It’s been so much fun watching my daughter dream and make her plans. The hunt for the perfect dress is on and, of course, I think she looks like a fairytale princess in ALL of them. I so want to make all of her heart’s desires come true for her beautiful wedding.
It occurred to me, I think that’s what God wants for us as well. His love for us is so very overwhelming and he wants to bless us and wants only the best for our lives. Even when we go through difficult times, sickness and even heartbreaking loss.
He is there to work ALL things together for our good.
I love the fun little quote I shared with you earlier, but there is a verse that means so much more to me because it is one of God’s promises. It is on a plaque by my microphone in the studio to remind me of His love for me.
‘Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.’ • Psalm 37:4
