Brant:
Hey, a little tip for you. If you’re upset about something and you try to make a point, you got to think about how do you want to make the point so that it doesn’t justify whatever somebody was saying about you.
Sherri:
Okay.
Brant:
To which, there’s a bookshop that put up a sign that was just joking around and had a picture of a clown on it, and it had the red flash through it, like no clowns, and they were doing it lightheartedly. Well, then a gentleman named Buttons Blammo took offence and then wrote stuff all over the window. So, they were just having fun with it. Right?
Sherri:
But Buttons got upset, I may call him Buttons?
Brant:
No, you may.
Sherri:
Okay,
Brant:
I’ll call him Mr. Blammo. But Mr. Blammo should have thought, Wait a second, if they’re impugning,
Sherri:
Good point.
Brant:
My craft. I don’t want to step right into their stereotype.
Sherri:
Right, exactly. You don’t want to, for them it’s verification. See, that’s why we don’t want clowns.
Brant:
Right? It’s because of that sort of behavior. That sort of clownish carrying on. And then now what have you done? Buttons Blammo.
