It’s a community effort in Sedro-Woolley where 50 high school students, the local Chamber of Commerce, the wrestling team, and the cheer squad are working together to decorate Metcalf Street for Christmas.

Christmas PRAISE 106.5, sharing the Thrill of Hope. Hi there. Good morning. I’m Lynette. Got a riddle for you. What does the Sedro Woolley Chamber of Commerce, 50 high school students, and Christmas trees have in common?
Well, they’re all working together along with the wrestling team and the cheer squad to put Christmas branches and lights up along Metcalf Street. The kids are like, “I wanted to do something special for the community.” Another one said, “I’ve lived in Woolley my whole life. I’m a generational Woolley boy.” He said his favorite part of the colder months is walking down the street when it’s a little late, seeing his breath come off the lights. It’s a very special time of year, and especially when everyone works together. Looks like Sedro Woolley has got the Christmas spirit.
