Back to school brings us back to the “fond” memories of having to do the Presidential Physical Fitness Test. First of all. Why? Why is this a thing? We don’t think there is a soul who claps their hands together in great anticipation to crush this test. No.
Click PLAY to hear Brant and Sherri commiserate their memories of this from days gone by.

Brant:
Just talking about back to school. People get all worked up. Some people anxious about it, some people look forward to it. Talk about Sherri, about this. Your thing was the presidential physical fitness test. I remember that vividly as well.
Sherri:
It was humiliating. Yeah, it is humiliating and I always wanted to know why the president wanted to do this to me.
Brant:
Because he hates.
Sherri:
I was a big kid, so none of it was going to be all right. Some kids could do some things well and not, but it was all…
Brant:
How about the elbow hang? I saw the girls could do elbow hang.
Sherri:
Brant, let me tell you something. First of all, having to have the other girls help hurl me up to that bar, and then waiting for them to release my legs and knowing that I was going to be shaking violently immediately. Shaking, chin hitting the bar, and everyone’s watching like she’s not going to make it.
Brant:
Just utter humiliation.
Sherri:
Thank you, President.
Brant:
I would always look over at people like you shaking over there to nobody, jealous.
Sherri:
Why?
Brant:
Because we weren’t allowed to do the elbow hang.
Sherri:
You had to do the actual pull-ups.
Brant:
I had to pull up.
Sherri:
Okay.
Brant:
So I would be dangling there with my glasses on all steamed up while Ted Sloan and the other jocks are like, what in the world? Little noodle arm guy with the glasses. How long do we have to watch this?
Sherri:
There, that’s equal.
Brant:
That’s school. Back to school kids.
