You may hear us say this, we really mean it. Everybody is welcome here. I mean, we mean it, mean it. It’s not like, “Oh, so you welcome all denominations here from all across the Protestant, from Presbyterian to Methodist.” Like nooo. We welcome you if you are an atheist, if you are a Muslim, Hindu, agnostic, mix of things. We’re so glad you’re here. We mean it. Everybody’s welcome. I even wrote down different groups that are welcome Democrats, Republicans, tea party people, atheist, agnostic, green party, Protestant, Catholic, young, old, hip, not hip, married, single. You’re divorced. Well, you’re welcome here. You’re pro-choice, pro-life, white, black, Hispanic, Pacific Islander, whatever. You’re an artist or a jock or a loner. You’re depressed or you’re Joel Osteen fan or John Piper fan. Or you’re tall, short, thin, thick, doesn’t matter. You’re welcome here. We want you to know that we mean it because we’re weirdos too.

I’m a weirdo, and Sherri… Sherri’s new show will be only for the cool people. We mean it. Look, ultimately, we do believe in God and we believe he loves us, but we’re not trying to change you. We are hoping God changes us and we’ve seen him do that and he’s still working on us and we’d love talking about it. But it’s not up to us to change you or make you fit our mold or anything, and we’re just asking God to change us all.
